the hypocritical and corrupt government of hy-vee barlows

My naiive view of the Hy-vee produce department has been succesfully shattered.
did you know that the "fresh" cut fruit in the clear tubs isnt really fresh.
yeah i know its horrible. they ship all the cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon, pinaeple and stuff in from costa rica. then us produce people tear the plastic off the containers and dump the already cut fruit into new containers and lable it as fresh. OH THE HYPOCRACY OF IT ALL!!! have you ever cut up cantaloupe put it in a container and left it in the fridge for 3 days. all the juice is sucked out and what is left is gooky sticky remnants of what was once fruit and is now an insult to the word. Is it wrong that something this little makes me want to quit working at Hy-Vee. I feel like i am lieing to every single customer who buys the fresh cut fruit. I mean we claim that we cut it fresh daily. yeah right. more like every month or so when we run out of the crap in the boxes between shipments.
